The Problem
The SBCMC came to One Eighty looking to update their old SquareSpace website with a new look and additional functionality that connects their legacy with their future. They had the idea of creating a portal and content specifically for members that would create spaces that could help them find community around the idea of “At The Table”.
The Solution
At One Eighty Digital we went to work crafting audience personas and brand stories that helped us to understand their audience. Then we went to work crafting a beautiful design that showcases the artistry of their primary audience. Then we scoped out the tools and plugins that we would use for the new functionalities they wanted to implement.
The Result
The new SBCMC website was unveiled at a large conference and met with immediate signups for both their upcoming event and membership. The leadership and current members were excited about all the new ways they could connect with worship leaders across the country. They now have an amazing website that can grow with them as their organization thrives.
The Audience
Meet James
Worship Leader James is a 42-year-old worship leader at a mid-sized church in Atlanta. With many years of experience leading worship, James is passionate about creating spaces where people can encounter God through music and community. He thrives on helping his team use their gifts, but he often feels stretched thin—balancing service planning, volunteer management, and his own spiritual growth.
Even though James loves what he does, the role can feel isolating at times. He longs for connection with other worship leaders who understand the unique challenges of ministry. He values practical resources that simplify his weekly responsibilities, encouragement to sustain his calling, and fresh ideas to keep worship meaningful for his congregation.
When James visits the association’s website, he’s looking for training, tools, and opportunities to connect with peers. What he needs most is a reminder that he’s not alone in ministry and support that equips him to lead with both excellence and authenticity.
