I’m the creative director and owner at One Eighty Digital. I love really listening to our clients so I can deeply understand their problems and craft solutions that help them reach their goals. I also regularly contribute to our blog. I enjoy helping mission-driven organizations reach more people and do more good! I’m also a devoted husband and father to 4 awesome kids.

My Story

After leading non-profit organizations from senior level leadership positions for over 15 years, at 38, Wes successfully pivoted his career mid-stream into digital design and development and founded One Eighty Digital. Wesley knows all too well the struggles of non-profit leaders because he walked in their shoes daily.

From a young age, Wes has always had a desire to “help”. Even when he was little boy he loved helping his dad do work around the house. He especially loves working with clients to help them solve their marketing and communications problems. He says he likes to think of the One Eighty Digital team as “digital translators”. “We get to take the digital and make it understandable for our clients” he says.

Based in Orange Park Florida, Wes enjoys being active in his local non-profit and WordPress communities, running One Eighty Digital, and spending time with his family. Whether it’s to groups of 5 or 500, Wesley is happy to share from his professional experience to help others move forward.

What is your favorite thing about working at One Eighty?

We have the best clients! I love working with those who are really making a difference in our world.

What have been some of your favorite projects you’ve worked on at One Eighty?

I love the projects we get to work with a missions agency or children’s home. Those have a special place in my heart.

What’s your favorite Quote or Bible verse?

“He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”

My Perfect Day Is…

Would definitely be with my family at the beach. It’s our “happy” place.

What’s an achievement you’re proud of?

I’m a seminary grad and hold 3 masters degrees in specializations ranging from Biblical Studies to Counseling.

What skill do you think everyone should learn?

Learning to view their communication from an “outsider” perspective. We use so much insider jargon, much more than we realize, that doesn’t connect with our audience.

What show are you currently binge-watching?

My wife and I love watching Magnum P.I. It’s location makes it a beautiful show to watch.

What is a fun fact most people may not know about you?

I am a huge Switchfoot fan. I’ve seen them in concert over 20 times. If we meet on a video call, you’ll see their framed and autographed album covers over my shoulder in the background.
